Who we are

The Order of the Raven Rose is a society of witches and scholars who study the force that binds all things together - magic. Founded in the 21st century, the Order originated as a young woman-led organization that focused on providing kinship to original and mystical individuals for all corners of the Earth. The Order's beliefs and practices are steeped in mystery, and membership is limited to the most worthy witches. A select few are chosen to become full members of the Order, and are entrusted with its most sacred secrets. The Order's ultimate goal is to protect the world from the forces of darkness, and to promote the use of magic for the benefit of all while allowing it's member to tap in their full potential and find the light in themselves.

Our values and beliefs

 

At the heart of the Order of the Raven Rose is valuing chosen family and friendship above all else. Membership is based on merit and ability, not birthright or privilege. The Order provides a supportive environment where witches can come together to learn, share, and grow but most importantly be free of persecution for their differences or particularities. All members are expected to embody the Raven Rose's ideal and principles - empathy, curiosity, and sense of wonder for the beauty of the world. Though the Order isn't deist, members worship and celebrate the divine within all individuals and the strenght that reside in humans and witches alike who go through difficult life obstacles and still, always, rise. The Order is freely inspired from Wiccan and pagan celebrations and traditions as a way to grow and connect with the universe. 

 

Our community

 

We are not a cult or a religion, but a kinship that welcome people from all paths and walk of life. Most members are still in the beginning stages of their life and will grow together but all levels of experience magickal and in life are welcome. All that is need is to stand against conformity, mediocrity, and ignorance. We are a welcoming community that celebrates difference and supports each other's growth. By applying to the Order, you are taking the first step in finding the best possible version of yourself and a family that will support you through the good and the bad. We hold rituals to celebrate the passing of the year, our own rites of passages and some of the good things in life. Classes and growth opportunity are also provided to all members free of charge and knowledge is shared through all levels.
